Le'Veon Bell still frustrated with Vontaze Burfict: I would love to put my hands on him in the ring

Le'Veon Bell still holds a grudge against a former opponent despite his football career being over for quite some time. Bell expressed his desire to face a former NFL linebacker notorious for dirty play and causing a significant injury to Bell.

During an appearance on the YouTube show Misfits Boxing, Bell was asked if there was someone from his previous life in football that he'd like to fight in the ring.

While he hesitated to mention the person's name, it was evident that he was referring to former Cincinnati Bengals linebacker Vontaze Burfict, who intentionally injured Bell during a game in 2015, resulting in a torn MCL.

"They had purposely injured [me]. I don't think I want to say the name, but people who watched my career when I hurt my knee, people know," Bell said.

"Yeah, people know. I would love to put my hands on him in the ring."

Bell shared his sentiments in a video clip he posted on Twitter, acknowledging that fans who followed his career knew about the incident.

Burfict's alleged gloating about the injury sparked a heated confrontation between Steelers teammates, including Bell's close friend Vince Williams, and the Bengals' controversial player, which garnered media attention.

The 2015 injury was the second consecutive knee injury Bell suffered against the Bengals at that time, with the previous one occurring at the end of the 2014 season and causing him to miss a playoff game against the Ravens.
