As fans know, Meghan Trainor is expecting her first baby and during a new interview, she opened up about it as well as about her upcoming Christmas album and more! That being said, among other things, the singer revealed why she does not want to throw a baby shower!
During her chat with ET, Meghan Trainor got candid about her plans for the holidays and, as it turns out, they don’t include a baby shower!
‘I don’t want to do a baby shower because I’m too scared of corona,’ the singer shared with the news outlet, going on to reveal that despite this, her family is determined to still do something special.
‘I haven’t bought a thing [for the nursery] because my mom is like, ‘No, don’t buy stuff yet. You get the gifts, and then you figure out what’s left.’ I think today is the day I’m going to go in – I’m going to buy everything.’
This comes after, earlier this month, Trainor revealed the great news that she and husband Daryl Sabara are going to soon be parents!

Furthermore, just last week she also revealed the sex of their first addition to the family – a baby boy!

The pregnant celebrity shared, in part, with her followers that ‘there is a blood test you can take at 12 weeks… that tells you if it is a boy or a girl, and they call you and it was insane because I am that girl who looks up everything, and I was like, So, there are all these myths of, if the heartbeat’s really fast, it’s a girl, and if your hips are the first to go out, then it is a girl, so I was like, ‘It’s a girl.’ I was so confident, and then when she called and I was like, ‘OK, tell us,’ and she was like, ‘What do you think it is?’ And my husband’s like, ‘A girl.’ And she’s like, ‘Actually, it’s a boy.’’
