Each day is one day closer to Captain America: Civil War in our eyes! It also seems each day we learn a bit more about the superheros in it.
Today we learned a tidbit from director Jon Watts speaking to Empire Magazine.
“I love the idea of making a coming-of-age high school movie. We’re really going to see Peter Parker in high school and get deeper into that side of it. He’s just 15 now.”
We love this new approach. Seems Watts is delivering just that saying “There are only so many times you can kill Uncle Ben.” Spidey will make his first appearance in Civil War coming out May 6, 2016, followed by a solo film out hopefully July 28, 2017. (This is too long for a human to wait.)
Now the most important question: Mary Jane Watson or Gwen Stacy or Felicia Hardy or Betty Brant, heck even Ms. Marvel? Who will be Peter Parker’s love interest…will he even have a love interest?! Maybe we’ll find out tomorrow.
